                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                  CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, CONTRACT NO. SL-2-95,
                  SUMMITT LANDFILL, WITH RIVERBEND CONSTRUCTION
                  CORPORATION, WHICH CHANGE ORDER INCREASES THE
                  CONTRACT AMOUNT BY FORTY-SEVEN THOUSAND NINE
                  HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE AND 70/100 DOLLARS
                  ($47,923.70), FOR A REVISED TOTAL CONTRACT
                  AMOUNT OF SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO THOUSAND
                  ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE AND 04/100 DOLLARS
                  ($722,133.04).
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Change Order No. 1, Contract No. SL-2-95, Summit
       Landfill, with Riverbend Construction Corporation, which change
       order increases the contract amount by $47,923.70 for a revised
       contract price of $722,133.04.
